Job Description Summary: Assists with the planning, directing and coordinating manufacturing processes by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities: Read and execute requirements of structural fabrication and installation drawings. Determine material requirements of drawings and accurately write requisition documents for estimating or purchase. Strong shop and shipboard layout skills. Able to make clear, and accurate sketches and notes so that others can read and understand them. Knowledge of standard trade terminology and basic structural design and construction. Knowledge of and total compliance with Personal Protective Equipment Policies. Travel both locally and out of town to various work sites, Naval facilities, and shipyards to perform shipboard checks. Work overtime as project schedule and structural shop support needs dictate. Able to convey information and directions to others, as needed. Able to work with little to no supervision. Experience Requirements: 5 8 years of Lofting/Mold Loft experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc) Experience using Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD, Voloview, and Power Point. EEO / AA / M / F / Vets / Disabled
