Job Description
General Description:
Participate in the support, maintenance and implementation of the human resources information system (HRIS). Ensure data integrity and effective HR system utilization, and develop queries and reports to meet the Company s organizational and operational business needs. Research and resolve questions/issues and respond to data inquiries in an accurate and timely manner. Participate in HRIS related projects and system upgrades.
+ Participate in the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS system upgrades, patches or HR systems configuration projects and enhancements.
+ Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
+ Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of changes and document processes, procedures and testing results accordingly.
+ Participate in the maintenance of HRIS system tables and data integrity within the system(s) through query review and data analysis; follow up to ensure timely research and resolution of any data updates necessary or to address issues that may arise, and drive for process automation when practical.
+ Analyze and review end user requirements, streamline current data collection and reporting processes to provide useful reports on a timely basis. Assist in the identification and creation of report specifications as required for the development of custom reports and interfaces for ongoing processing needs and requirements. Maintain system data integrity by running queries and analyzing data, and automating such processes as possible.
+ Assist with HR system configuration, and utilize HRIS data for analysis and reporting; research and resolve any potential issues to ensure accurate and timely resolution. May work with HR team, Payroll, IT and other departments as necessary.
+ Document system design and processes for the training, reference and education on processes and system functionality.
+ Troubleshoot system errors to resolve issues and provide HRIS support and feedback.
+ Ability to process transactions in HRIS, Benefits, Recruiting and Onboarding software.Provide backup support to the Human Resource Assistant and other HR staff members.
Required Skills
+ Three years prior Human Resource experience, working in a multi-state and overseas environment preferred.
+ Five years equivalent Human Resource experience working with Deltek Costpoint, Benefitfocus, Silkroad Recruiting and Silkroad Onboarding or related software.
+ Prior Human Resource experience working with Government Contracting preferred.
+ Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Access and Microsoft Word as well as other database software required
+ Possess solid inter-personal skills and attention to details is required.
+ Ability to Multi-task and work independently
