SUMMARY Responsible for managing home care clients and CNA employee work efforts, management of skilled services, client scheduling and service, issue resolution, timesheet tracking, payroll and billing. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Management of employees to train and advise Monitoring customer compliance process to ensure any new employees placed at a customer are 100% compliant within 2 days of placement Managing ongoing client care process, including: Maintenance of existing employee database, including: Maintaining licensing database to ensure that all active employee certifications are in compliance with state and federal requirements Gathering feedback on employee performance and customer satisfaction Completing employee performance reviews at regular intervals SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervision of field staff performance of Nurse Aides as well as handling medical skilled assignments.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Current licensure in the state BA preferred, significant (2+years) experience in similar position an acceptable alternative Superior customer service orientation Must be comfortable handling complex scheduling demands and managing multiple assignments COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to write routine nursing reports and required correspondence as required by the company. Ability to respond professionally on behalf of the company. Must be able to appropriately respond to and maintain confidential information at all times. BEHAVIORS Requires the ability to prioritize and complete work on time, be detail-oriented, exhibit a service orientation to both staff and clients and be a professional team player with a positive attitude. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Must also demonstrate a sense of understanding and urgency for priorities. Will require the ability to appropriately troubleshoot and escalate where necessary, problems/issues to the appropriate individual. TECHNICAL SKILLS Requires familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to travel on a daily basis through the Hampton Roads Southside service area when needed, to set-up new private duty cases, review performance of medical personnel in a private home setting and meet with corporate clients as necessary. Keep in touch with referral sources and new clients Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office/home environment Desk, driving, or moderate physical activity, occasional lifting up to 25lbs, standing, sitting or walking for more than 4 hours per day on limited assignments. Home environment involves possible exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following safety precautions and may include use of protective equipment.
