*Position Summary*
Supports moderately complex Field Service activities in operating environments at depots, training sites, and customer field operations with training, operation or repair.
*Duties and Responsibilities*
* Supports moderately complex Field Service activities in operating environments at depots, training sites, and customer field operations with training, operation or repair.
* Provides technical skills in area of proficiency and demonstrates ability to troubleshoot technical issues at all types of military and commercial field assignments
* Determines solutions in resolving a wide variety of technical problems
* Interfaces directly with customer personnel to address technical support issues
* Works at remote locations under general supervision of others
* Provides regular reporting of progress and status
* Provides budget, cost and schedule input for design assignments
* Communicates clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required
* Participates in preparation of less complex proposals
* May provide technical knowledge and assistance to other engineers and support personnel
* Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
o Attends appropriate engineering, customer or business meetings
o Mentors and coaches less experienced engineers
*Basic Qualifications*
* Competent technical expertise and application domain knowledge
* BS degree in Engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 2 years of experience
