Job Description: Sentara Billing Support Services is currently recruiting for a full-time Patient Account Representative to work full-time (40hrs/wk) for our Billing Support team in Chesapeake, VA. Candidates for serious consideration will be familiar with insurance billing (secondary billing and primary as a plus), understanding of billing language (CPT codes, HCPC, rev codes, etc.), ability to read and understand EOB's, and to work in multi-systems such as HBOC, EPIC, and Cirius.(billing). The employee is responsible for the following in assigned areas: billing for medium and low dollar claims, daily reconciliation, registration, auditing, and collection of information. Responds to phone inquiries and follows up to obtain information requested.
